MM Consulting

Something I don’t talk about often:

I spent 20+ years on the corporate side of talent acquisition before I started this business.

In rooms where senior hiring decisions got made. Reviewing resumes that would land senior leaders the rest of their careers, or wouldn’t. Coaching hiring managers through interviews. Watching, repeatedly, how the same small things determined who moved forward and who didn’t.

I left to do this work. Coaching senior leaders through their own searches and into their own leadership because I kept watching brilliant people make fixable mistakes. And I knew I had information that, if I could just get it to them in time, would change their outcome.

So that’s what MM Consulting is. It’s an attempt to take three decades of what I learned on the other side of the table and put it in the hands of the people who needed it before they walked into the room.

If you’ve been here a while, you already know this is the lens I work from. I wanted to name it once, out loud, in case it’s useful context for what I write here.

If you’re a senior leader navigating a search or a leadership transition, and you want someone who’s seen the room from both sides — that’s what I do.
